The world of betting can be a right snobby place at times. "Oh, you're backing odds on shots are you? Mug", "You'll never land one of them massive accas", "You're not getting any value there". We're here to tell you...bet how YOU want to bet, not how other people tell you to bet.
Trust me, in the tipster world we have it on all fronts because we're not only told how we can bet, we're also told the right way to tip as well. I've heard 1,000 systems from 1,000 people with their version of how to beat the bookies and I've heard 1,000 complaints from 1,000 tipster review sites saying we HAVE to do this and we HAVE to do that. The truth is, as a punter, you don't HAVE to do anything at all.
If there was one sure fire way to bet and beat the bookies then they wouldn't exist and Denise Coates wouldn't be rocking up to the office in a chopper every day would she?
Whether you take betting seriously or you just do it as a hobby, the bottom line is that it should be fun. If you enjoy tracking stats and doing graphs to assess your own performance, brilliant, crack on. But don't let someone force you into a way of betting that you don't enjoy. As long as you're doing what you're doing responsibly and within your means, the rest is completely up to you at the end of the day.
I can waffle on through blog post after blog post and explain the importance of staking plans, how to research stuff, how to become a better punter and if you want to learn about that stuff then by all means go and check it out. But what if you don't want to become a better punter? What if your enjoyment for the day is sticking 50p on a 20-fold correct score acca and dreaming of a life in the Bahamas? Well we say, go and do what makes you happy. ENJOY betting. That's what it's all about.
And if someone questions how you bet, tell them InplayMan said they're a bellend. Ok?
